If you are a mother, you are immortal.
A mother’s influence in a child’s life has lasting effect. Long after her body is buried in the ground, she lives on. For generations she treads across a terrain that is both tangible and untouchable. She dwells in that sacred place of a child’s being.
How she chooses to parent is important. She need not be perfect, but she must be present. And she must be proactive and participate. Otherwise, the risk is banishment—to be eternally exiled from the very sanctuary she is meant to keep safe.
Posts under this page are dedicated to all aspects of motherhood and parenting.
